My Top 10 Festival Must have Beauty Products......

For all ye people that have a social life and will get to a festival this year , here is a list of what I would bring with me if I was going...God I'm a saddo....While ye're all rocking out I'll be dragging a child I'm trying to potty train around tesco probably smelling a little bit of stale wee...lol!!!  Here we go.....(just remember don't take anything too expensive with you as you can be guranteed you'll loose them)

No 1. Aldi Face Wipes - cant say enough about these...they are just cheap as chips, really moisturising and really take off the slap...

No. 2. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF20...this is great as it gives really nice coverage and has an SPF of 20. Its gives a dewy finish to the skin...luv this..

No. 3. Avon Supershock Liner ...this is brill for a budge proof liner...its so soft you can just smudge it out with your finger to create a messy grungy smokey eye, perfect for a festival.

No. 4:  Black Mascara - Any one really, as long as its waterproof....

No. 5: Benefit Posie Tint - There is no better way to wake up tired skin than with a rosey glow to the cheeks and lips. Posie Tint gives a lovely subtle pop of colour, making you look fresh ang glowing....and it lasts all day.

No. 6: Concealer - Lacura Eye Concealer Pen...perfect to hide the bags...

No. 7: Dry Shampoo - There are loads of these on the market. I love the Tres Semme Spray. You just spray it at the roots, wait a minute and then massage into the roots. It gives instant volume and takes the manky greasy look off you straight away.

No 8.  Pink Body Spray - this is a handy alternative to bringing perfume....its lightly scented and is not too overpowering..these are really handy to keep in your handbag

No 9. Bronzer. .. 2 True All Over Bronzing Powder...This is a brill cheap bronzer that you can throw in your  handbag and not worry about...its only 2.99euro..Its a lovely matt brown that is perfect for face and body.xx
No. 10...Nail Polish......my fave at the moment is NYC Expert Last Nail Polish...the colour I'm loving is Permanent Pink....The are only 1.99euro and they last for days without chipping...xx

Beauty Bargain from Aldi....xx

Sorry I haven't blogged much, I'm a a busy bee with my little monster. His mastered the art of asking questions!!!..Normally I can sit down at the laptop while he has zoned out with peppa pig..but not anymore!!! everything is WHY?????.
I've picked up another cheap and cheerful product from good old Aldi. I dragged myself away from the biccies aisle again (after buying 4 packets of biscuits!!) and wandered to the beauty side. I stocked up on cotton pads, face wipes, cotton buds, even deodorant (David's convinced I'm gonna loose the skin under my arms...lol,either that or I'm gonna stink!!!..).

I decided this time to try a lip gloss. They come in 5 different shades, gold shimmer, soft shimmer, soft brown, espresso and chocolate.
I bought the pearly pink shade (soft shimmer) which is a nice clear neutral gloss which is great over lipstick.  I also bought soft brown which goes a nice nude shade when applied. Overall they are nice lip glosses, which lasted longer than some of the more expensive brands I've bought. It isn't sticky and glides on smoothly. It's small enough to stick in your pocket and handy to use for a quick application before you get out of the car. For 2.49euro you can't go wrong.

Beauty Bargain of the week..from Aldi...xx

I recently bought the Lacura Waterproof Mascara with beeswax and panthenol. On the box it says it "creates perfectly defined, amazingly long lashes with the perfect curl. Your lashes will be optimally conditioned without clumping, appearing full and thick. For expressive eyes all day long."

I have to say, it is definitely waterproof - I tested it last week walking the beach in Lahinch. Normally after a walk up there in the winter I'd go back to the car with panda eyes, but it didn't give me raccoon eyes and doesn't flake at all. If you love a natural black look this would be fantastic for you. It doesn't give big volumised lashes but its great for natural everyday makeup. I tend to use a volumising mascara on the top lashes for night time and this mascara on the bottom. The brush is an old fashion type wand - nothing to talk about really. It only cost 3 euro and I'll be definitely be repurchasing.

Beauty Bargain of the Week!!

This is just a quick post about a product I've been using for the past few weeks. It is Aldi Lacura 3 in 1 face wipes. They are brill and only 1euro. I have never liked using wipes, because it never takes off all your makeup or mascara...I have bought every type and hated them but these wipes are brill. I love using this product as it makes my face feel so refreshed and clean and they don't dry out your face. Only one wipe is needed per use [for me] and therefore they last roughly a month per pack. Bargain. Id recommend this product for all skin types.
There are 3 types, one for anti-aging, normal and sensitive. I use the sensitive ones and will be definitely stocking up....
