New Brow Beauties...x

Everyone lately wants big beautiful brows. Here's 3 of my favourite brow beauties that I have recently bought and love.

NO. 1 - HD BROW KIT IN VAMP

I have to say I love, love, love this kit. I have seen this pop up in a few you tube videos and kept meaning to get it. I finally dragged my ass to Ennistymon and bought it from Body Treats Salon. They are the only local salon close to me that sells the HD products and offer HD brows and after checking out their amazing brows I;m definitely gonna go back and get the hour long treatment. The palette itself costs €25.00, which is a little bit pricey but its so worth it in my opinion.

Because I prefer a more defined brow I bought the darkest palette in VAMP which is the palette for dark hair. There are three palettes available, Foxy, Bombshell and Vamp each one suited to different skin tones and hair colour. I will definitely go back to get the Bombshell Palette for my kit.

The brow kit comes in a snazzy black palette with four shadows, a small brush and good big mirror. These powders can also be used as eye shadows too, so perfect to take with you for travelling. You can create a natural look right up to a full on smokey eye with this. I find the powder itself a bit crumbly so always tap the brush before applying it so you don't get too much fall down.

              NO. 2 MAYBELLINE BROW DRAMA

This in a nutshell is mascara for the brows. This would be brilliant for anyone with unruly bows or also for older ladies that have grey coming through in their brows. It coats the brow hairs and hardens them so they stay in place.

This is fab on its own for a natural everyday brow or at night I love to use this to set my brows after I've used shadow or pencil to create a darker defined shape that doesn't budge. .
This is a handy thing to have in your makeup bag.

INGLOT BROW SHAPING PENCIL

I rushed out and bought this when it was first released and was a bit pissed off as I thought it was just blahhhhh..and off down to the bottom of the makeup bag it went.

The next time I went into Inglot one of the girls explained that it's not your traditional brow pencil. It is designed specifically for brow shaping rather than precise strong colouring.
The pencil itself is a chunkier thicker pencil which is a soft waxy pencil. As I have light brows I find this doesn't give me enough definition. I run this over my brows to set them after I've used pencil or powder. It really does make them budge proof and gives a good shape without looking too over done.
If you have thin or very sparse brows and your looking for something that does everything then this is not the product for you.
This would be a brilliant product for someone that already has a strong brow and wants something quick that will perfect and define them in one sweep..x x

No7 Stay Perfect Smoothing and Brightening Eye Base - Eye Primer

Yet another day and I'm standing in Boots after being handed a 7.50euro off voucher for No. 7 and I haven't a clue what to buy. So far in the last few weeks I've gotten from No. 7 - 3 nail polishes - each one of them more crap than the next, a cuticle cream which was a bit blah, an eyebrow pencil for brown/black hair - this one is a red orangey pencil which would only be flattering on someone with roaring red hair!!! and a lip gloss that's like wallpaper paste. All in all I 'm not a great fan of their makeup..its a bit shite for what it costs.
But regardless of how shite they are I wasn't leaving without some little piece of free makeup or relatively cheaper makeup. I was just about to grab a horrible black eye pencil to use up the voucher when this little bad boy caught my eye.
Its called the ' Stay Perfect Smoothing and Brightening Eye Base' and I LOVE this eyelid primer. To me its a creamier dupe of MAC Painterly Paint Pot at half the price.

Because of the pigment in this the product it helps to hide veins and dark spots as well as being a lovely base to pack your eye shadows onto. It really helps intensify the colour and in my experience it helps prevent the shadows creasing. This is also lovely to wear on its own with just a flick of eyeliner and some mascara as it really does brighten up the eye.
When I first got this, it creased on me badly because I applied too much so the trick with this product is to use it sparingly. It comes with a sponge tip applicator but you would do better tossing that and using other means of applying it like with your finger tip or a brush.
It cost 10.50euro so I just had to give 3 bucks for this with the voucher and since I got it I've used it everyday. Because this sucker is so creamy I don't think it would be great if you had very oily lids.

Review - Maybelline Cream Liner

Howdy... I have meant to do a review on this pot of lovliness for a while. It's one of the newest addition to my steadily growing collection of gel liners.

I absolutely love this eyeliner. I have been using it for about three months. I have it in Blackest Black, and Brown. You also get a free brush for applying it but it kinda sucks as an eyeliner brush. I use the brush with the brown shade for me lovely non-existent eyebrows. The texture is creamy & dries fast, to me this goes on like a dream and best of all its long lasting. I've also tried this on my water line and I get a good 2 or 3 hours out of it..
When I bought it it was on offer for 11 euros in Boots...It's definitely worth the money and for someone that isn't that confident with putting on eyeliner I find this one is smooth and one of the easier liners to work with....xx

My favourite Brow Pencil...

Thick brows are a big trend at the minute, so if yours are thin or you've overplucked like me, then MAC Brow Pencils are the way forward. They are 16.50 each and are the only brow pencils I would really recommend. Some eyebrow pencils are too waxy and hard, which makes them painful to apply, but this one is great. Always easy to apply, always sharp, nice and thin packaging and lasts forever.

The three colours I have in my kit and always use are:

Fling - For Blondes

Lingering - Mid Brown

Spiked - Dark Brown

I use Spiked to create the shape and then fill in with Lingering. The joys of having no eyebrows...
